Zhenzi is a male character from the Xingzuo Temple franchise by Diives. He was given a revamped and revitalised design and personality, due to the multiple haters of the show calling the male characters henpecked, cowards and/or weaklings. Thus, he was changed to be a chivalrous mercenary who uses grenades, boomerangs and throwing knives in spin-off material.

Bio[]

He sweeps through the chaos and deception of the battlefield like a whirlwind. Somewhere, there is a cause worthy of the skills he spent his whole life honing.

  • Chi Manipulation (Can release a burst of chi)
  • Status Effect Inducement (By hitting the opponent repeteadly, without them being able to recover, he can cause them to enter the "Stun" status, which leaves them unable to react)
  • Resistance to Precognition (Reading the future of fighters such as him is difficult, because they always fight against it)

Hyper Combos[]

  • Grappling Finisher: Zhenzi rushes towards his opponent and incapacitates them with a knee strike. Zhenzi then does a rapid barrage of punches and kicks and ends by grabbing the opponent, rolling backwards and tossing them out of the stage.
  • Ren-kiri-Kazuneha: Jumps while performing an uppercut crackling with electricity, followed by a downwards stab while falling, creating a pillar of energy similar to Power Geyser upon landing. As a recovery, it offers good vertical distance, and Zhenzi can move forwards or backwards, but it has poor set horizontal distance (equivalent to half the length of a Battlefield platform regardless of how high he is from the ground).
  • Bushin Goraisenpujin (武神轟雷旋風陣 Bushin Gōrai Senpūjin?, "Martial God Booming Thunder Whirlwind Array"): Zhenzi performs four rapid punches; if they land, he then backflip-kicks his opponent into the air. While his opponent is spiraling upwards, Zhenzi leaps off the sides of the screen, before he grabs them and suplexes them into the ground while spinning for a great deal of damage.

Gameplay[]

Zhenzi's style in particular can be described as a fusion of traditional ninjutsu with modern street brawling. His unique application of martial arts utilizes speed and rapid attacks to wear down opponents until he can find an opening for his deadliest maneuvers.
