Squidward Quincy Tentacles is one of the main characters in the Nicktoons show SpongeBob SquarePants. He is the neighbor between SpongeBob and Patrick. Squidward is a cephalopod. His species is an octopus, according to the series creators, despite his name containing the word "squid" and him having six legs instead of eight. Squidward lives in a house shaped like an Easter Island head (Moai head). He works as the cashier at the Krusty Krab, a job he absolutely loathes. SpongeBob works along with Squidward at the Krusty Krab. Squidward is a selfish individual and displays an unjustified air of superiority. He also has over 500 self-portraits and is delusional about his talents (such as playing the clarinet) though nobody around him considers him to be very good. The series' animators made Squidward with six tentacles, believing that giving him eight tentacles of an octopus would have made him look too burdened and would also be too difficult to animate.
Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island[]
Squidward appears as a non-playable character in Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island. He is the fourth character being collected. He was found at the end of Calamity Cove where he was under the sand, keeping himself alive by breathing through his clarinet. He joined the team afterwards, although to his annoyance of SpongeBob and Patrick.
He stays on the island the whole time and doesn't seem to play any important role in the story. However near the end of the game he went along with SpongeBob and Danny through Summit Storm. He launched SpongeBob and Danny to the other side so they could fight Mawgu. After Mawgu was defeated he returned to his home along with the others.
Nicktoons: Globs of Doom[]
Squidward reappears in Nicktoons: Globs of Doom as a non-playable character. He was seen in the beginning of the game walking along with SpongeBob to the Krusty Krab. However while they were walking it started raining goo out of the sky, and one mass hit Squidward and made him into one of the possessed minions. Squidward was later collected during the second area in Bikini Bottom. He afterwards resided in Mawgu's Lair.
Ultimate Nickelodeon Brawl Stars X[]
Squidward acutally doesn't appear as a character in Ultimate Nickelodeon Brawl Stars X. However SpongeBob does have a palette swap which resembles the color scheme of Squidward.
Super Brawl[]
Squidward doesn't appear as a playable character in any of the Super Brawl games, but he does appear in the background of the Krusty Krab stage.
