Neo Cortex

Doctor Neo Periwinkle Cortex is a professional scientist born in Peoria, Illinois, and is the main antagonist of the Crash Bandicoot series. He is Crash Bandicoot's arch-nemesis and creator, and has been seen throughout the series with colleagues such as Dr. Nitrus Brio, Dr. N-Gin, Dr. Nefarious Tropy, and his master, Uka Uka.

The one in charge of R&D in HoloX. Possessed by an insatiable thirst for knowledge and power, Cortex holds a grudge against other scientists for ridiculing his outlandish (yet workable) ideas, and was originally driven towards world domination by the desire to prove his colleagues wrong.

Hyper Combos[]

Blaster Fracture: Neo Cortex fires out pair of gravitational charges from his blaster which bounce off walls and implode after a short duration, damaging enemies within a sizable radius. Cortex is able to create an indefinite number of these at will.
Wanted: Dead or Up High: Neo Cortex summons his hoverboard and rams the opponent. The durability of the attack can be lengthened by tapping the light punch button. The flying trajectory can be controlled with directional pad input.
Rehabilita-Laser: Neo Cortex fires a beam of energy from his blaster at the opponent. Works in tandem with Analyze Cube, and releases "collected data" in the form of a beam. The more "data" has been collected, the more hits the beam deals, and the stronger it gets. However, unlike its regular version, the power of both attacks go back to normal after using it.
