Ultimate Nickelodeon Brawl Stars X[]
Misty appears as a playable DLC character in Ultimate Nickelodeon Brawl Stars X. She is also one of the many characters from My Life as a Teenage Robot.
Bio[]
She's a powerful entity in her own right, but her presence in the ultimate conflict leaves open one question- if she was indeed hired to help the heroes, then who paid for her services?
Bio (Switch Version)[]
Each punch, each kick is filled with murderous intent, and yet her victims never realize.
They are swifly consigned to darkness, while she alone remains, creeping in the shadows.
Special Powers[]
Miasmoronian Physiology:
- Mist Mimicry: Misty's main superpower is her ghostly ability to transform parts or all of her body completely into mist/smoke at will. She can use this form to cushion a fall. In this form, she cannot be physically hurt.
- Mind Reading: She can use her ghostly powers to literally get inside the minds of people, robots, and animals to know what they are thinking and discover their biggest fears. She can also induce nightmares, as seen in Teenage Mutant Ninja Troubles.
- Flight: She can fly and levitate while assuming her smoke form, as well as her normal form.
- Mist Teleportation: She can appear and dissappear in her mist form.
- Superhuman Strength: She is strong enough to kick anything faraway and through a building with ease, lift a massive monster over her head, and even pick up a fully-occupied school bus with only one hand.
- Superhuman Durability: She can withstand a punch in the face with only a black eye.
- Healing: She can turn into smoke to heal any wound in seconds.
- Interstellar Travel: She can travel across interstellar distances at incredible speeds.
- Space Adaptation: She can survive in outer space unaided. She can withstand cosmic radiation and the lack of air.
- Self Sustenance: She does not need to breathe in outer space.
- Water Walking: She can run and walk on water.
- Enhanced Agility: Misty's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are significantly beyond the natural limits of the human body.
- Enhanced Reflexes and Flexibility: Misty's reflexes are heightened to the point of being virtually instantaneous.
Skillset[]
- Master Martial Artist: Misty is an extremely skilled martial artist, and the creator of two martial arts: the Assassination Fist: Mourning Style (暗殺拳・喪流, Ansatsuken Sō Ryū) and the Assassination Fist: Abhor Style (暗殺拳・忌流, Ansatsuken Ki Ryū). This is the result of an amalgamation of many Chinese martial arts that Misty has studied and trained under in her years as a martial artist and an assassin. Along with the aforementioned Mantis and Crane styled martial arts, Misty's styles also incorporate shadowy and secretive styles kept from the public eye. Combined in all, the style's intents were made for the purpose of assassination and the death of the opponent.
- Nervous System Control: Misty has near-complete control over her nervous system, enabling her to deaden herself to pain.
- Environmental Adaptation: Her entire body is oriented to combat, enabling her to adapt to any environment with minimal exposure.
Hyper Combos[]
- Zan'ei: Misty transforms into mist form and dashes in a blur, back and forth past her opponent. When Misty stops, the opponent will suddenly suffer a total of 13 hits in damage simultaneously. The distance she travels before stopping is determined by the punch button pressed, and the distance Misty stops at will determine where the opponent lands: in front of Misty or behind her.
- Shitenshuu: Misty draws back before launching a flurry of Hyakurenko strikes. If any of these connect, Misty launches another flurry of strikes to various pressure points on the opponent's torso before hitting one final pressure point on the opponent's forehead. The opponent then crumples to the ground. Note that despite her striking the opponent many times, only two of them are registered as "hits"; the first and final strike.
- Jyakoha: Misty jumps forward into the air. If she comes into contact with an airborne opponent, she locks her legs around their neck and slams them into the ground while rapidly spinning, stomping both feet onto the opponent's head (similar to her air throw). The angle of the jump and the distance traveled is determined by the kick button pressed; light kick is almost vertical, while heavy kick brings her to the far top corner of the screen.
Gameplay[]
Misty's fighting style incorporates various kung fu styles that she has utilized in her assassinations. This is reflected in the unique ability to switch between two fighting styles during gameplay: Mantis (Sou) and Crane (Ki). Misty is at her best with both styles utilized in tandem, often switching between Mantis and Crane mid-attack; however, this makes her a difficult character to learn and master, and her low stun and stamina leave even less room for error.
Misty's two styles use opposite approaches: The Mantis style focuses on ground-based pressure, spacing, and approaching, with special attacks that can act as solid reversals, among other defensive functions. The more offensive Crane style uses a multi-angle approach, with normal and special moves tailored to confuse and punish foes, and unique standard normals (such as an overhead standing medium punch and low-hitting standing heavy punch).
