Fright Knight is an ancient and powerful ghost, the dark spirit of Halloween and is both the Ghost King's loyal henchman and second-in-command.

Fright Knights appears as a special mid-boss for the story. In order to unlock him you have to wait till 31 October after you bought the game, and then it will automatically unlock him. Or you can collect all the Halloween Costumes to unlock him. However he only appears on hard or Purgatory mode, as he thinks you're not worthy to fight him when you're weaker than that. After you defeat him, he will be unlockable as a playable character.

Bio[]

Wielding a sword known as the Soul Shredder, the demon gallops toward its enemy, focusing all of its power in readiness to deliver the killing blow—an obsidian spinning slice that would reduce its foe to shreds.

Special Powers[]

Wields the Soul Shredder, a powerful blade that has been cursed by the bloodshed of its creation. It grants immense power to its wielder, and heals any wounds on the user, but corrupts their mind and conquers them. The cursed blade can drain blood to strengthen itself and the wielder, and produce greenish flames. It is also quoted that even if the bearer is not naturally a swordsman, he will gain an excellent sword-handling ability.

Hyper Combos[]

Yokazan (妖火斬 Yōkazan^?, literally meaning "Cursed/Mystic Fire Slash"): Fright Knight scrapes the sword at the ground, and the friction creates a green-colored flaming projectile that he launches at the opponent. Sword thrusts can also hurl the flame as explosive fireballs for ranged attacks.
Yoja: Kokuto Arahoshi (黒刀荒星 Kokutō Arahoshi^?, literally meaning "Cursed/Mystic Meteor: Savage Star"): Fright Knight jumps high into the air, stands with both his feet on the crossguard of his sword, and descends swiftly to impale his opponent from above.
Yoja: Gashuzan (妖蛇・牙襲斬 Yōja: Gashūzan^?, literally meaning "Cursed/Mystic Snake: Fang Assault Slash"): Fright Knight transforms the Soul Shredder into a blue-flamed snake and attacks with it, in which the snake bites the opponent several times and drains a large amount of blood.
