Dahlia Hawthorne

Dahlia Hawthorne (Japanese: Chinami Miyanagi) is the main antagonist of the Phoenix Wright Trilogy in the Ace Attorney franchise.

She is a selfish, heartless, and sociopathic serial killer who uses her sweet and kind demeanor and appearance to manipulate people, especially men. She is also the arch-nemesis and evil counterpart of Mia Fey, as well as the first arch-enemy of Phoenix Wright, whom she manipulated in the past.

Spectral Physiology: Dahlia possesses a wide amount of ghostly powers:

Inhuman Agility and Reflexes: Dahlia is capable of running at speeds far greater than those of the finest human athlete. Her reflexes and agility are enhanced to levels that are beyond the human body's natural limits.
Telekinesis: Dahlia's telekinetic abilities enable her to levitate herself, or others, by sheer force of will and manipulate living beings, inanimate objects, and to some extent energy, psionically.
Invisibility: Dahlia can make herself and whatever she is touching invisible and immune to detection by most sensory equipment. Smoke or mist can reveal her outline while invisible.
Intangibility: Dahlia can make herself and whatever she is touching intangible. While intangible she becomes partially transparent but she cannot become fully invisible while intangible.

Skillset[]

Manipulation: In life, Dahlia used her "sweet and innocent" persona to gain the loyalty of others, namely a college student named Phoenix Wright and a tutor named Terry Fawles, and bend them to her will, with the latter even being willing to commit suicide for her while on the witness stand.

Hyper Combos[]

Scale Calibur: Dahlia ducks down and then shoots out a triangular, flaming energy blast from her eyes either straight forward or at an downwards angle. Can also be performed in the air.
Scale Wave: Dahlia summons a bunch of flaming butterflies that fly around her in circles. Works well against jumping players because the butterflies have pretty solid range and if one hits several others will likely juggle your enemy. Still, you want to be as close to your opponent as possible when you do this so you'll generate the most damage.
Scale Maelstrom: Dahlia powers up and then does a drill attack, and this can be performed while jumping as well. You can hold the joystick in any direction as soon as the motion is complete, which allows you to control where this flies at. Also pressing an attack button and a direction on the joystick when she's almost done with the move will cause her to do it again, although it doesn't last as long as the first time.
