Anime & Cartoon All Stars: Super Toon Smash! was received with mixed reviews. On IGN, the game a rating of 6.5 (ok). It said, "...the fun comes in very small doses." and "the levels, though aesthetically varied, are basic (a Little bit)", criticising its alright gameplay and plagiarism of the Super Smash Bros. games.
