Artie, the Strongest Man in the World is a character from The Adventures of Pete & Pete. Little Pete's personal superhero, who is very eccentric, surreal, unhinged and completely moronic but quite powerful — for example, he can skip stones on Neptune, move an entire house by an inch, and hit a golf ball 300,003 yards. Artie is also one of the few adults Little Pete seems to have any respect for. His catchphrase is "For I am Artie — the strongest man ... in the world!" His battle cry of "pipe!" aggravates the adults of the community, and his favorite scent is the air let out from a car tire. He left the show after the 2-part episode, "Farewell My Little Viking". His spot in the opening credits would later be replaced in the third season with Nona's.

Ultimate Nickelodeon Brawl Stars X[]

Artie appears as a playable character in Ultimate Nickelodeon Brawl Stars X. He was one of the surprise characters included into the game. He is also the only one to represent his show.

Bio[]

The lawless deserve no mercy. His flurry of punches rained down in the blink of an eye. This has always been his style.

Summoning (Can be summoned by letting fresh air out of a tire, or if the Ohio Players decide to play 'Love Rollercoaster')
Resistance to Precognition (Reading the future of fighters such as him is difficult, because they always fight against it) and Cosmic Radiation (He can skip stones on Neptune)

Hyper Combos[]

Giga Artie Press: Artie breathes deeply, exposes his muscular chest, and leaps high. He lands at full speed into the ground, inflicting more damage the closer he is to the opponent. This can also OTG. The flames from the slam themselves count as an energy attack, and is not part of Artie's hitbox. The move also inflicts more hits during the falling portion before Artie reaches the ground, making it suitable for an anti-air.
Rapid Fire Fist: Executes a barrage of lightning quick jabs, then finishes with a Violent Axe that rips the air. Air/comic book tearing streaks are colored yellow. Can button mash the punching part for more hits. Artie must connect with the first punch, or the final two hits will activate instantly. The final blow hits overhead, and can ground bounce.
Max Back Breaker:Grabs the opponent, then executes a backdrop on the opponent, grabs their legs, spins them and launches them into the air. A flash in Artie's eyes signals his high jump as he grabs the opponent in mid-air. A finishing piledriver, shown in 3 different angles, then explodes onto the scene. The range is rather poor on the attack, but it compensates with great startup invincibility.

Gameplay[]

Artie is popular for his wrestling/street-brawling fighting style. That being said, all of his moves are based from the aforementioned style. He's also much of a contact bruiser, for he is not as quick as the rushdown characters in the game. However, it's safe to say that Artie is more combo oriented, as some of his throws create openings and combo extentions in addition to inflicting damage, and they are also good for punishing and wakeups.
